The Mizuno JPX 923 Hot Metal is built around Chromoly 4140M, one of the strongest materials Mizuno has ever used in an iron face. The seamless cup face construction allows the entire face to flex at impact, generating ball speeds that rival some drivers. The re-engineered Cortech face is 0.2mm thinner in key areas, expanding the sweet spot while maintaining the satisfying Mizuno feel through the ball.
